I almost didn't buy my condo because the kitchen was so outdated. Here's what I was dealing with: I chose alder cabinets with a warm stain, from Cherry Creek. The storage is amazing, and I staggered the depth of the cabinets to create interest.

No storage, plywood cabinets, clutter! Love my deep drawers for pots and pans, and a tall 24-inch wide pantry with pullout drawers.
Transforming Kitchen and screened in porch:
The original Kitchen had little storage and mismatched random cabinets and extremely cheap.
The finished setup opened up the mismanaged space as well as adding 150 square feet of living space. The house was updated with a tankless water heater and tied into a Hi-Velocity air conditioner/ heater.
